Extrabold, if you got the money….

A study depicting the stylistic diversity found in Parisian graffiti tags. Now on display at Fondation Cartier’s Born In The Streets – Graffiti exhibition until November 29, 2009.
Over 2,400 graffiti tags were photographed from April 24 to April 28, 2009, from each of Paris’s 20 districts. All photographs were archived, tagged and sorted by letter. The ten most commonly used letters by Paris graffiti writers were identified for further study (A,E,I,K,N,O,R,S,T and U). From each letter grouping, eighteen tags were isolated to represent the diversity and range of that specific character.

Imagine renting a bike, storing energy on it as you ride, and then receiving bus credit on a personal ID card based on how much energy you stored. Bikes could then be placed in a solar-powered bike rack, which would transfer the energy from the bike to the smart grid.

That’s is the concept behind Chiyu Chen’s Hybrid2 system. Through a fleet of rentable bicycles, kinetic energy is created when riders either pedal or brake. The stored energy would then be used to power the city’s hybrid electric buses.

One month ago, we went to Rotterdam and saw this huge santa claus with an anal plug in his right hand. First we didnt believed it that it could be an anal plug but now we have the confirmation!

McCarthy’s work in the 1990s, such as Painter (1995), often seeks to undermine the idea of “the myth of artistic greatness” and attacks the perception of the heroic male artist. He has created several Christmas-themed works. Through them, he combines the dismal aesthetic and the real meaning of Christmas.Through this, McCarthy is able to stay close to the bottomless ground of creativity by accepting, even embracing, the one truly consistent strategy: failure.

This summer, sculptor Antony Gormley invites you to help create an astonishing living monument. He is asking the people of the UK to occupy the empty Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square in London, a space normally reserved for statues of Kings and Generals. They will become an image of themselves, and a representation of the whole of humanity.

Every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days without a break, a different person will make the Plinth their own. If you’re selected, you can use your time on the plinth as you like. One & Other is open to anyone and everyone from any corner of the UK. As long as you’re 16 or over and are living or staying in the UK, you can apply to be part of this unforgettable artistic experiment.

You can play your part in making this idea a reality – either by volunteering yourself, by telling others about it, or by experiencing it online or in the square itself.

What’s even cooler is that you can watch what’s happening live via webcam. It’s streaming 24 hours.

This is the link do watch the livestream.

Some of the most crazy and interesting stories happen when traveling in a car. “In Da Car” is a project by Two Russian photographers, Ashot Gevorkyan and Yaryshev Evgeny, who create some awesome off-the-wall scenarios that include two cities, four cars, and more than 30 participants. Here are their stories:

That’s what I found this week-end! I’m happy that the city grows more and more.
